Given this is the third post in one day, I am going to keep this one short and sweet: here it is, the preferment calculator that nearly broke my brain (and may yet still). For now it is just for paid subscribers, whom I expect will give it the workout it needs so that I can make it even better than it is.
Hit me up with complaints, corrections, and suggestions for how it might be improved. In the long run, I plan to use it as a framework for building a formula spreadsheet, though that is a much bigger project. And remember that the yeast/starter amounts are provisional, and will get revised once I have time to do some more testing (and with feedback from others); let me know how things proof for you.
Note that I haven’t yet incorporated instructions for serial dilution of the yeast in the calculator, but you can find them here.
