This week’s roundup of bread (and pizza) links is a very short one, sorry. I don’t know about you, but between the long-a** posts about pizza I sent out and that other thing that’s been going on this week, I’m freaking exhausted right now, and don’t have much gas left in the tank.
I did want to mention one cool thing, though: Pizza to the Polls, a nonprofit, non-partisan organization that fed people pizza as they waited in line to vote this year. They used real-time reports of long polling lines to know where to direct their food trucks, and handed out free slices to anyone wanting one. According to their stats, they sent out 66,089 pies to 3,267 polling sites, across 48 different states.
That’s the sort of Democracy anyone can get behind, no matter what side of the aisle you are on. 🍕🍕🍕
Get some sleep if you can this weekend, I’ll see you all next week.

I'll share some good news for my bread making peers: Challenger Bread Pan is on sale right now. Mine arrived yesterday; first loaf is proofing now!
Idk who else to ask so i’ll ask it here: what weight should each portion of baguette dough be? In ATK’s recipe it says 200g, KAB’s recipe is 300g, and boulangerienet.fr just vaguely says “division”. Thanks!
