I Walked 600 Miles Across Japan for Pizza Toast

Start with this wistful, beautifully-photographed Eater story by Craig Mod about walking across Japan in search of pizza toast, a snack that was first invented to appeal to American GIs. After you read that, you can watch Mod’s video of pizza toast being made at one kissaten, Kissa Būgen:

Enjoy pizza toast, and I’ll see you all next week. Have a peaceful/pizzaful weekend, all.
