I want EVERYTHING. The only thing in here I have is the new Ken Forkish, Evolutions in Bread. It's great. His foundational recipe in there, "The Standard" is a hearty and reliable sandwich loaf that my family of peanut-butter-toast-lovers is now addicted to. I've made it weekly since I got the cookbook.
What is the image on the right in your photo of pasta-making tools from John Francis Designs? It’s really beautiful. And I love the image of the couche with the spools of thread. Perfect for those of us who sew, or quilt (my passion), combined with bread making. I agree that Woks of Life, Delectable, and Vegan Chinese Kitchen are great. Haven’t seen the others yet. Thanks for all the great ideas.
All I can, say about "The Perfect Loaf" is once opened, you will want to bake everything in it. Great instructions and detail, just like our Wordloaf. "Woks of Life" is also fantastic. And let's not forget the Pocket Companion from Wordloaf, which I hope leads to a larger volume of something soon.
LOVE this post. Oh I wish I lived in the USA
WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO VISIT?
It has to be next year. Le Grand Tour

This is one of the most exciting gift guides I’ve ever read.
I just signed up for a class with Tara!
What a fabulous gift guide, Andrew! Thank you!

Apologies for my dyslexia, Nancy! That is his gnocchi/cavatelli board, I have one and they are very pretty.
Thank you for clarifying. I think I need to hang one of those on a wall. Maybe use it too. But beautiful woodwork is worth displaying, used or not.
