A savory holiday bread
I LOVE Za'atar, so looking forward to trying this one (despite the lack of starter!). Is it too stiff to mix by hand? I don't have a mixer at the present location.
Andrew - on step 2 for the dough - you mention to add the sugar. Is it correct to assume that you are referring to the honey as it appears on the ingredient list?

I made this a couple of days ago and it was so good! I had some leftover pumpkin so added 150g to the dough and a few handsful of additional flour. I don't think it really affected the flavor, but made for a really pretty color.

I made this recipe this evening and it was so delicious! My intention was to have it with dinner tomorrow, but it made the house smell so amazing my husband and I couldn’t wait and cut into it tonight!
