I'm planning on baking a stollen with my friend Dani and I'd love to try Georgescu's recipe for plăcintă with curd cheese and maybe another complementary savoury filling.

I'm baking stollen for the first time. Last year, my mother-in-law mentioned having trouble finding it near her new senior living community, so I decided to surprise her and send a homemade one for the holidays.

I've never tried stollen myself, so one of our neighbors is enjoying being my recipe taste-tester.

Being of eastern European descent, I'm curious to see if there's a recipe for what my babci called "babka", which was not the twisted loaf by that name. It was more like a cross between paska and panettone.

Wow! That is a beautiful recipe and beautiful book. I'd love to be considered -- I'm excited to bake more SOURDOUGH and perfect my recipe to share with friends and family.

I've been baking sticky gingerbread with cranberries (NYT) the last few years. Delectable.

I survived the obligatory gingerbread cookie baking with kids, and I plan on making chocolate babka next. I remember Andrew mentioning he was working on an unorthodox Stollen in his 2021 Pecan Cranberry bread post, would love to see that, Stollen has been on my list for a long time! I'm also making Andrew's chocolate cherry bread for edible gifts as well as the pecan cranberry bread - huge faves around here, they are great recipes, big thank you!
