I love Young Joni! Cafe Ceres has amazing pastries and in general, I think the twin cities has some of the most underrated coffee shops in the nation. Hai hai was also a highlight of my last trip!
everyone says Ceres, and I think I might just have time to hit it before I leave today! We've been staying with a Pavoni-owning friend, and haven't had a single cup outside of the house, but I'm not surprised to hear that! I just learned there is a coffeeshop-darkroom somewhere here, which is very much up my alley
Nice coincidence that I was in the Twin Cities when I read this article! Thanks to your list of bakeries, I was able to enjoy a great sandwich and pastry at Patisserie 46 before heading to the airport yesterday.

Must go to cafe ceres! Another must is Bakersfield - flour mill in NE and also baked goods. Otherwise you have the baking hot spots
Also Black Walnut Bakery! And Bakers Field https://bakersfieldflour.com
Also Aki’s Bread Haus for German breads including sourdough. It’s in NE on Central Avenue.
