Just want to give you a very big Thank You for your Wordloaf. I love the insights you provide, and directions you take us in. I need to thank you for your advice about using disposable roasting pans, sealed, for baguettes. I've also tried using a steel steam table pan. It's a baguette odyssey, I still don't have it right, but I sure enjoy the challenge .... Anyway, Happy Holidays, and Thank You!!

Hi Andrew. I just bought your pocket guide as it seems I am caught in a weight disagreement between ATK and KA. This year I decided to bake holiday cookies for the first time in a few years. I love measuring by grams which is what you use. I hate converting fractions of ounces which is what ATK recipes use. I converted to grams using the KA comprehensive chart and had cookie fail. The ATK recipe called for 2 1/4 cups AP flour or 11 1/4 ounces. The KA chart says that 1 cup is 120 grams so I used 270 grams. Fail! When I made the cookies a second time I measured by measuring cup, then ounce weight, then switched to grams. The grams was closer to your conversion (140gm per cup). So I just ordered your pocket guide and hope to solve this problem!
