Would be interested in German pretzel course. Loved your pizza recipe for King Arthur.

Definitely in for a soft pretzel class. I grew up in Pennsylvania, the pretzel capital of the US. They sold soft pretzels daily at recess in my grade school, which went from first to eighth grade. A lot of days of pretzels! Would love to create something like that.

Engrave a QR code that links to a full recipe on a webpage 😂 a short recipe with just bakers percentages and cliff notes directions for experienced bakers would probably fit though??

Interesting that the flour from the ancient bakery survived all this time?! One would think that it would just degrade or get eaten by animals or bugs...

If it's the REAL German pretzel like those you can buy in any Fußgänger Passage in Germany 😜-- then yeah! I'd be interested! I prefer to use sourdough to instant yeast, but I'm sure that would work as well. I really don't like those soft American pretzels dripping in Butter that most breweries sell. I have nothing against butter, but not oodles of it! 🤣

German pretzel class--yes, indeed! Good pretzels are pretty easy to find in Southern Germany, but in the US -- NOT!!!

I've worked on recipes for these from time to time since I left Southern Germany after living there for ten years. I've never been very satisfied with my different tries. Also consider including real pretzel buns. The knockoffs you find here just lend credence to never judging a book by its cover.
