As a frequent yogurt maker, I'm really interested in finding more ways to use my whey. Looking forward to more recipes and plan to check out the Yogurt and Whey cookbook. Thanks!

One to add to your bread holidays: I’m currently reading Nistisima by Georgina Hayden, a vegan cookbook of foods from the Mediterranean. The author relates much of the food to Greek Orthodox fasting traditions. I never knew there could be so many fast days in a year. One bread tradition is Lagana (Clean Monday sesame bread). The bread is meant to only be baked on Kathara Deftera (Clean Monday), the first day of Easter Lent. The author describes it as a thin crunchy bread that is brushed with sugar water after baking, then topped with sesame seeds and sea salt.

And I’m ready whenever you post your whey muffin bread recipe: quart jar full in the refrigerator right now.

Choreg is the family favorite for the holidays, in roll form. Last Thanksgiving, someone snagged the entire bag. Armenian peda loaf, inspired by Valley bakery in Fresno, CA. It's great for sandwiches. I added your matnakash as well . I would like to start making nazook, perhaps I will practice for Easter. Looking forward to the yogurt story! Homemade yogurt is the best!
