The Breakfast Book is one of my favorite books for breakfast recipes. I particularly like the Apple Pancakes, which have a nice soufflé-like texture.

I do often use both instant dry yeast & my starter for texture especially for sandwich style bread and also pizza & focaccia. For me the crust is a bit more tender. Looking forward to your post Andrew on Maurizio’s blog.

I shared the article about Crystal Diamond Kosher Salt with my baking friends & like me, we’re all very sad and are seeking other salt alternatives. Will share this last article about chocolate with them too 😟. The price has also gone way up, on top of being contaminated. The holidays won’t be the same without chocolate!

I saw Marion Cunningham in a grocery store in Walnut Creek, CA. She was in a wheelchair, assisted by a caregiver and was scrutinizing the buttermilk and other items in the dairy section. My mother in law's friend took cooking classes in her home, before she was a published cookbook author.

Looking forward to the post on hybrid breads.
