Fire at New American Stone Mills
Help them out if you can

Just this morning I learned the news that on 11/6 there was a major fire at Andrew Heyn and Blair Marvin's New American Stone Mills, who have made many of the mills in use at our favorite regional millers over the last 10 years:
This past Thursday morning a fire broke out at our shop in Morrisville. It occurred in the early hours, no one was in the building and we are beyond grateful that no one was hurt. The fire was significant, the damage is extensive and so many things are unknown at this time.
The day before the fire was the 10 year anniversary of officially starting New American Stone Mills with @elmoremountainbread. Sadly, we were anticipating a more joyous week.
As we learn more in the coming days, we will keep you posted, but in the meantime, please keep milling and baking for your community and we will be back to building mills as soon as possible.

Evrim Dogu, whose own Sub Rosa Bakery suffered a terrible fire a few years ago, has launched a fundraiser to help Andrew and Blair get through this difficult time and get the factory back up and running. Please consider donating if you can, even a small amount will help.
